Abstract: The Indonesian government has paid special attention to food commodities since the first president. Food needs for the people must be met without relying on imports. The Ministry of Agriculture in 2015 created the UPSUS (Special Effort) program for three food crop commodities, namely rice, corn and soybeans. To predict the yield of rice, corn and soybeans (PAJALE), one of the methods that can be used is Marcov Chain. This method can be used to predict the next event. The advantage of this method is that the algorithm is simple so it is easy to apply. This study aims to predict the yield of Pajale production in West Java in 2021-2023 using the Marcov Chains method. The results of this study indicate the average production percentage of rice is 88%, corn is 10%, and soybean is 1%.
