Peranan Ekstrak Teh (Camellia sinensis) sebagai Imunomodulator

Abstract

This article reviews the immunomodulatory activity of various types of tea according to various literatures, then summarizes the modulation mechanism of the active compounds contained in these extracts on immune cells. Particular emphasis is given to summaries of recent studies highlighting the types of active compounds and their impact on immunity. The results showed that the content of metabolites in tea extracts can be immunomodulators by influencing immune cells against incoming antigens.
