Abstract

The use of vegetable pesticides as a substitute for chemical pesticides is growing and is known to the agricultural community. The ingredients used in vegetable pesticides refer to the function of vegetable pesticides, namely as a poison to pests by using the extract of the Ficus plant. Ficus elastica (karet kebo) Ficus benjamina (beringin) which is a gastric poison for plant pests. This study aims to determine the effect of giving Ficus plant extract as a vegetable pesticide on the death of worm  S.litura. The research method was to provide vegetable pesticides in the form of Ficus plant extracts dipped in papaya leaf feed on 90 larvae of third instar grayak worms. The treatment group consisted of 3 treatments, namely Aquadest (M0), Beringin  Extract 250gr / L (M1), Karet Kebo Extract 250gr / L (M2). The results showed that the application of vegetable pesticides in the form of Ficus plant extracts had an effect on mortality by interacting with the effect of the extracts. The data obtained from the research results will then be analyzed using statistical tests and the P-value is a 0.038.. Worm mortality is most visible in Karet Kebo Extract 250gr /L (M3) was 83.3%.
