Karakteristik Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Rumput Mulato (Brachiaria Hybrid Cv. Mulato) Yang Diberikan Pupuk Hijau Cair Daun Lamtoro, Daun Kersen, Daun Sirih Dan Pupuk Kandang

Abstract

One of the grasses that can fulfill nutrition for livestock is Brachiaria hybrid cv grass. Mulato. The advantages of mulato grass are drought resistance, production is quite high and easy to breed with tillers. Efforts are needed to provide forage that is good enough and guaranteed continuity. One of the efforts made is to use liquid organic fertilizer. This study aims to determine the characteristics of growth and production of mulato grass (Brachiaria hybrid cv. Mulato) which was given liquid green manure of lamtoro leaf, cherry leaf and betel leaf and manure. This study used 4 treatments with a dose of fertilizer given to each treatment as much as 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% with a growth period of 30 days. The design used in this study was a randomized block design (RAK). The results showed that the use of liquid fertilizer for cherry leaves, lamtoro leaves and betel leaves had an effect on the growth of mulato grass. Lamtoro leaf liquid fertilizer has an effect on plant height and the number of tillers of mulato grass. While the application of liquid fertilizer cherry leaves affect the number of leaves, leaf width and dry weight of mulato grass.
