Uji Skrining Fitokimia Ekstrak metanol Daun Suruhan (Peperomia pellucida L.)

Abstract

Suruhan plant (Peperomia pellucida L.) is a plant that has many benefits, one of wich is the leaves. This study aims to determine the content of secondary metabolite qualititatively in the methanol extract of the leaves. Extraction was carried out using the maceration method with methanol for 3x24 hours. The content of secondary metabolite test was carried out qualititatively with phytocemical screening method and the data obtained wer analyzed descriptively. The result showed that the methanol extract of suruhan leaves contained flavonoid, terpenoid, saponin, and tannin.
